There are three varieties of Beaufort: Beaufort de Savoie (or summer Beaufort), Beaufort d’alpage (made in chalets in the Alps) and Beaufort d'hiver (winter Beaufort). Beaufort is commonly used to make cheese fondue because it melts easily. |
